5th and Wine celebrates five years in business this December

Time flies when you’re sipping wine, eating delicious fare and mingling with friends.

In honor of the big five, 5th and Wine is hosting a variety of events for guests through the month of December to display their appreciation:

* Dec. 2: Anniversary Wine Dinner, Oregon (Roco and Argyle wineries) vs.  France (Louis Latour), 6:30 p.m., $75++

* Dec. 3: Live Music from Ivan Harshman starting at 6 p.m.

* Dec. 4: Live Music from Alan Dequina starting at 6:30 p.m.

* Dec. 5: Two-Dollar Wine Night plus live music by Korbe Canida starting at 6:30 p.m.

* Dec. 6-7- Special Holiday Weekend Brunch, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. featuring $12 bottomless mimosas and poinsettias, plus live music Saturday night by Smoot Mahooty and Sunday night by Los Thieves from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

* Dec. 13: #SaturdaySantaSelfie Event on 5th and Wine’s Expansive Patio. Santa will be posing for pet or personal selfies 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Donations of new and unwrapped toys are appreciated to benefit Toys for Tots.

5th and Wine will also feature a special “Favorites at 5th” menu throughout the month.

Additionally, 5th and Wine is offering guests a complimentary first bottle of wine when they book a reservation of six or more Monday-Friday 11 a.m.-2 for gift exchanges or holiday gatherings. Simply mention to the hostess “gift exchange” when making the reservation by calling 480-699-8001.

“It’s been an amazing five years, “ said owner, Rich Sullivan. “We could take all the credit for this milestone, but credit truly deserves to be given to our loyal guests and staff, whom we consider family.”

General Manager Scott Yanni said, “We have built solid relationships with guests through our popular monthly wine dinners, private dining and special event programs and non-pretentious, tasty comfort food, all things that keep our guests happy and coming back for more.”

In the heart of Scottsdale’s growing lifestyle and design neighborhood, 5th and Wine has been active with the 5th Avenue Merchants Association, the host of multiple charity events, supportive of other small businesses with Small Business Saturday, the original host of the Mac and Cheese Throw Down, and part of AZ Food Tours since their first year in business.
