Foosia, Scottsdale’s fast, fresh and healthy alternative to casual dining, is inviting guests to help celebrate the restaurant’s first anniversary on Tuesday, Jan. 13, with a free Asian bowl for every guest who stops by between 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. that day.
Foosia combines the colors, smells, tastes and traditions of Asian street fare into casual American dining. The food is familiar and yet exotic and features diner’s favorite, wok glazed veggies including bell peppers, broccoli, onions and snap peas and protein including shrimp, beef, chicken, slow roasted pork or crispy tofu, but in a whole new way – kicked up a notch with Asian flavors like ginger, soy, star anise and coriander to name a few.
Guests create their own Foosia experience by making their own custom, made-to-order bowl with their choice of 25 fresh ingredients to create their perfect combination, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options, utilizing authentic cooking methods.
Foosia’s sauces include:
Red, White & Blue Korean BBQ – Korean BBQ: deep, dark, spicy, sweet and mysterious.
Holy Foobanero – Habanero Hot Sauce enhanced with the tropical flavors of lemongrass, pineapple, and a touch of vinegar.
Muay Thai Vinaigrette – A savory yet punchy little sauce with notes of ginger, tamarind and lime.
Two Nuts Walk Into A Bar… – Malaysian Peanut Sauce rich in the flavors of peanuts, dark soy sauce, and coconut milk.
Foo Foo Mango-Lime – Delicious mango cleverly paired with highly aromatic and palate cleansing Kaffir lime.
Okinawan Pineapple Pow – Sweet and fruity teriyaki: pineapple juice and premium soy create this savory glaze.
Fooster Sauce – Our take on Sriracha–the classic Thai Hot Sauce.
Foosia also utilizes fresh herbs from its raised bed herb garden located on the patio.
“We can’t think of a better way to celebrate than to reward each and every loyal customer who comes in that day with a delicious, authentic Asian bowl,” said Foosia Co-Owner Dino Coppi.
One free bowl per guest and no purchase is necessary. Foosia is located at 13610 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale.
