Scottsdale attorney Helen Holden has been elected to membership in the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel.

Ms. Holden is a partner at Sacks Tierney P.A. There are fewer than 30 Arizona members of the FDCC, which was founded in 1936.

The FDCC is composed of “recognized leaders in the legal community who have achieved professional distinction.” It is dedicated to promoting “knowledge, fellowship and professionalism” of its members in defending parties in civil lawsuits.

Ms. Holden focuses her practice on human resources and employment law issues. She represents employers in defending claims alleging violations of federal and state employment laws, including matters involving discrimination, harassment, violation of overtime laws and other wage claims, as well as cases involving breach of restrictive covenants and other employment contracts.
