Robert Harris, an Allstate Insurance agent in Scottsdale, recently announced that the Allstate Foundation supported four organizations with a $1,000 grant each in honor of volunteer efforts in the community.

Representatives from the agency, which is independently owned and operated, volunteered with the Scottsdale Police Department K9 Unit, the Scottsdale Police Crime Prevention Unit, the Scottsdale Fire Department Fire Prevention Unit and the Foothills Animal Rescue of Scottsdale.

“It’s an important way we give back to our community,” Mr. Harris said in a prepared statement. “As a full service agency, we enjoy giving back to the community by volunteering with these great organizations as an extension of what we do every day – protecting people and preparing them for the future.”
