Benefit Commerce Group adds two consultants to staff

Benefit Commerce Group, a rapidly growing Scottsdale-based innovative employee benefits consulting firm, has added two additional benefit consultants to its team.
Rebecca Ballesteros and Danielle Tantone have teamed up with the firm’s principals and senior benefit consultants to help employers develop strategies for their employee benefit programs.

They are building relationships with clients and prospects and continuing to expand the marketing reach of Benefit Commerce Group.

“Rebecca and Danielle were drawn to Benefit Commerce Group to expand their horizons, unlock new opportunities and help our firm continue its industry-leading growth,” said Scott Wood, principal of Benefit Commerce Group.

Ballesteros is a results-driven sales professional with 23 years of experience in the employee benefits industry. She was most recently an employee benefit consultant at Wells Fargo Insurance, since June 2011, where she specialized in consultative strategies and introduced new programs, working directly with business owners, CEOs, CFOs and controllers.

Previously, she was an Employee Benefit Consultant at Horizon Benefits Group, gaining extensive experience with employee enrollment meetings, presenting benefit programs to business owners and working with clients and insurance companies to resolve claims, billing issues, other situations.

Tantone has more than 15 years of experience in sales, account management and client services in insurance and various industries, including real estate, construction, media, hospitality and nonprofit.

She was most recently a client engagement manager and sales executive at Lovitt & Touché, where she was a producer and specialized in new business development and relationship management.

She previously worked in the employee benefits department at Brown and Brown Insurance, supporting producers, account executives and account managers, comparing benefits and plans, negotiating rates and developing client proposals.
