Donald L. Myles Jr. named 2016 ‘Lawyer of the Year’

Donald L. Myles Jr. has been named the 2016 “Lawyer of the Year” for Insurance Law in Phoenix.

According to Best Lawyers, when an attorney is selected as “Lawyer of the Year,” it “reflects the high level of respect a lawyer has earned among other leading lawyers in the same communities and the same practice areas for their abilities, their professionalism, and their integrity.”

Mr. Myles has been a Partner with Jones, Skelton & Hochuli since 1987, and concentrates his practice on insurance coverage, bad faith, professional liability and cyber liability.

He is a senior director at the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel, a fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers and the American College of Coverage and Extracontractual Counsel.

Mr. Myles is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, having tried in excess of 50 cases to verdict. He has tried cases involving insurance bad faith, professional liability, product liability, construction defects and insurance coverage, many also involving punitive damage claims.

He has published numerous articles and has spoken at seminars in California, Texas, Florida, Connecticut, Arizona and Canada regarding litigation related issues, as well as trial practices and procedures.
