Landmark Physical Therapy to host re-opening, re-branding event

Landmark Physical Therapy, a locally owned business since 2010, is hosting a free barbecue to celebrate its grand re-opening as Empower Physical Therapy.

The event — which is slated for 3:30-6:30 p.m. Friday, April 12 at 4530 E. Shea Blvd. in Phoenix — is open to the all. It will provide those who attend a chance to meet the physical therapists, eat hot dogs and hamburgers, play games and receive a 30-minute evaluation, a press release states.

Will Humphreys, vice president of marketing and recruiting, will be also be on hand to discuss lower back pain.

Landmark PT started with one clinic at Raintree Drive and Thompson Peak Parkway, then expanded in 2012 when it opened a second clinic on Shea Boulevard near Tatum Boulevard, according to a release.

In 2017, it opened a third clinic at Hayden Road and Via de Ventura. In August of 2018, the company joined forces with four other Valley-owned businesses to form Empower Physical Therapy.

Each owner committed to preserving the patient-first, quality-care, supportive, feels-like-family environment they had created for their patients, a release states.
