Pet friendly complex to host dog adoption event on April 23

Optima Sonoran Village, a luxury residential community located in Old Town Scottsdale, is hosting a dog adoption event with the Arizona Humane Society on 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Saturday, April 23.

AHS’ Waggin’ Wheels Mobile Adoption Vehicle will be bringing furry friends to the Optima Sonoran Village for an adoption day that is open to the public. The event will be located off of Camelback Road, by the roundabout in front of Optima Sonoran Village at 6895 E. Camelback Road.

The event, “Adopt-a-Dog at Optima Sonoran Village,” is free to attend and will give residents and guests an opportunity to play with, and adopt, pets, according to a press release.

AHS will be bringing six dogs who will be available to adopt that day, with adoption fees starting at $110.

Optima Sonoran Village residents that adopt at the event will have their adoption fees waived, the release stated.
