Photos: world’s largest Harley-Davidson opens in Scottsdale


The grand opening of the world’s largest Harley-Davidson took place in Scottsdale at 15656 N. Hayden Road, on Saturday, Nov. 7.

The event included guest speakers Mayor Jim Lane, Gov. Doug Ducey, Sheriff Joe Arpaio and Harley-Davidson CEO Matt Levatich.

The grand opening also coincided with the fourth annual Bob’s Biker Blast, a community ride for casual bikers, bike enthusiasts and music lovers with proceeds benefitting Phoenix’s children’s Hospital.

The Doobie Brothers with Michael McDonald headlined this years event with a day of performances from local bands and entertainers. “Sons of Anarchy” Kim Coats – aka Tig – was also scheduled to appear and sign autographs on Saturday, according to a press release.

The new Harley-Davidson of Scottsdale is now the largest dealership in the world, the release stated. It includes unique elements such as a wedding chapel, tattoo parlor and state-of-the-art movie theater.
