Scottsdale Abrazo to host free back pain, injury seminar

Abrazo Scottsdale Campus is presenting a free class Nov. 7 about proper body mechanics to demonstrate how making small changes may people avoid back pain and injury.

Participants will learn about posture and lifting techniques during the class at 10 a.m. at Abrazo Scottsdale Campus, (formerly Paradise Valley Hospital), 3929 E. Bell Road.

This is one of several free classes that Abrazo Community Health Network is presenting as part of its free 30-day health challenge, according to a press release. The Artistry of You program runs through Nov. 30 and aims to help residents take control of their health, physically and emotionally.

Participants can join the program anytime during November at AbrazoHealth.com/ArtistryOfYou to receive daily e-mails with health challenges and health tips as well as to register for free wellness events such as the holiday cooking class. They also can share their wellness journeys on social media using #artistryofyou.
