Pinnacle Aviation proudly announces that as a result of its latest independent safety and operations audit by IS-BAO, the IBAC council has approved Pinnacle Aviation for the prestigious Stage 3 certification.

International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations is designed to promote use of high quality operating practices for international business aircraft operations.

IS-BAO is a code of best practice. It has been developed by the industry for the benefit of the industry. It is the industry’s contribution to promoting highly professional operational practices. IS-BAO is intended to build upon the excellent safety record already established by business aviation, according to a press release.

  • Stage 1 confirms that the Safety Management System infrastructure is established and that safety management activities are appropriately targeted. All supporting standards have been established.
  • Stage 2 ensures that safety management activities are appropriately targeted and that safety risks are being effectively managed.
  • Stage 3 audit and evaluation confirms the operators SMS is supported by on-going improvement processes that foster a sustainable and proactive safety culture throughout the company; ensuring safety management activities are fully integrated into the operator’s business.

“Pinnacle Aviation is on a relentless pursuit for operational excellence,” stated Curt Pavlicek, CEO for Pinnacle Aviation, in the release. “We realize that safety and service reliability is about dutiful attention to the smallest details. We strive to go well-beyond aviation industry standards to ensure our operational systems are trustworthy and dependable.”

“Pinnacle Aviation continues to separate itself by embracing the highest IS-BAO standards, and now with Stage 3 certification from IS-BAO, we’ve again reinforced our culture of continuous improvement. That’s a value proposition our clients benefit directly from; and we believe our clients deserve to know that they are safe and secure at all times.”

The general aviation industry is populated with many safety accreditation services today.

Pinnacle Aviation is among the elite 1 percent of charter operators world-wide who have earned the very highest safety accreditation, including ARG/US Platinum rating, and the extraordinary IS-BAO – Stage 3, the release stated.
