The Scottsdale Convention and Visitors Bureau would like to congratulate President and CEO Rachel Sacco as she celebrates 30 years with the organization.

Ms. Sacco joined the Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce as a director of the convention and tourism department in 1986, according to a press release.

In 1987, the chamber formed the CVB with Ms. Sacco at the help. When the CVB became its own organization in 2001, Ms. Sacco was named its first president and CEO.

March 31 marked her 30th anniversary as a leader in Scottsdale’s tourism industry. Over the years, her achievements and her contributions to the tourism industry and the community at large have been countless, the release stated.
