Scottsdale Savers joins law enforcement for donation drive

The Savers store in Scottsdale on Nov. 7 will kick-off its second annual donation drive to help local children and families of fallen officers.

Savers is encouraging the local community to support the charity by donating clothing and used items so that proceeds can be donated to the charity.

Last year’s event raised $5,000 and sent five area children to camps structured to help grieving children.

This year, law enforcement and store managers will be on site to discuss the benefits of the Law Enforcement United Donation Drive and what it means for the local community.

The drive takes place 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Nov. 7 at Savers, 15020 N. Northsight Blvd., Scottsdale.
