Scottsdale’s Prescott Smith receives Distinguished Alumni Award

Technical Solutions Vice President Prescott Smith received the Distinguished Alumni Award from Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University.

According to a press release, he received the honor during a ceremony on April 4. Barrett, the Honors College’s Alumni Awards recognizes members of the alumni community who distinguished themselves through professional achievements, contributions to society, and support of the university.

Mr. Smith graduated from Barrett with a marketing degree in 2006 and returned to ASU for his master’s in entrepreneurship in 2012. Since 2009, he has worked for Technical Solutions, using his expertise in community outreach, planning and zoning issues, and land acquisition, the release detailed.

A graduate of Scottsdale Leadership and the Flinn-Brown Civic Leadership Academy, Mr. Smith serves as a City of Scottsdale Planning Commissioner and on the Scottsdale Leadership Board of Directors, according to the release.
