SniffAZ adds 2 to its all-volunteer board of directors

SniffAZ, a not-for-profit, all-volunteer Valley organization established in 2012 dedicated to funding low-cost and no-cost spay/neuter services, has named Danielle Fuentes and Melissa Simpson to its board of directors.

Danielle Fuentes

Danielle Fuentes is a tax manager at CBIZ MHM, LLC, one of the nation’s top providers of accounting, tax and advisory services.

Ms. Fuentes began her career in public accounting in January of 2009, and has since provided services to a client-base consisting of a variety of industries, including real estate, manufacturing, and professional services.

She specializes in tax-return compliance and planning for partnerships and S-corporations, entities operating in multiple states, and high net-worth individuals.

She is currently a member of the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants as well as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Melissa Simpson

Melissa Simpson is a database manager at the Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce where she oversees a number of member support functions including communications and online interaction.

Prior to her work at the chamber of commerce, Ms. Simpson held marketing, business administration and management roles in animal-related organizations in Arizona including Puff & Fluff Grooming and Pet & Animal Lovers Service.

She also served as marketing coordinator for Friends of Animal Care & Control in Phoenix, where she was responsible for media management, including social media, television and print media relations, as well as event planning and donor communications and support.

Ms. Simpson has a long history of serving her community, volunteering for Medical Animals in Need and the 100 Club of Arizona. She has also served as a volunteer for SniffAZ since 2013, providing needed social media support for the growing non-profit.

Since its inception in 2012, SniffAZ has donated over $100,000 in support of spay neuter programs in Maricopa County. Donations and contributions are deductible to the full extent provided by law.
