Tanzy Restaurant at Scottsdale Quarter to offer four course Christmas dinner

Tanzy Restaurant in the Scottsdale Quarter is hosting a Christmas feast on Dec. 23, 24 and 25.

Tanzy Restaurant is open on Christmas Eve, serving Brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Christmas dinner from 4-9 p.m. Dinner will be served on Christmas Day from noon to 10 p.m.

A four course meal for only $55 per person is sure to brighten your mood this holiday season. iPic Theaters Sapphire Members can dine for $49 per person. Add a wine pairing for only $25 and dinner is only $20 for children 12 years of age and younger, according to a press release.

The first course is a brown butter gnocchi, served with wild mushrooms, shaved asiago, crispy sage and a brown butter-balsamic. Add rich black winter truffle for $15.

For the second course, there will feature a roasted beet and citrus salad with creamy herbed goat cheese and toasted hazelnut sherry vinegar-honey gastrique.

For the main course, Tanzy Restaurant serves up a Christmas dinner staple — prime rib, which is herb-crusted and served with crispy Yukon gold potatoes, sautéed garlic spinach and horseradish crème fraiche.

For dessert, restaurant goers have the option of Tanzy’s dark chocolate “Buche de Noel,” which is a flourless chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and chocolate ganache, or an apple tart tartin with caramelized braeburn apples, crispy puff pastry and vanilla glace.

In addition to dinner, the restaurant will gift a rocky road dark chocolate, peppermint and pistachio chocolate bark to those who come for the dinner.
