Vom Fass Scottsdale products certified kosher

Vom Fass Scottsdale, which offers an entertaining from-the-cask tasting experience for shoppers, is ready for the upcoming Jewish holidays of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur with a full lineup of certified Kosher oils, vinegars and spirits.

The celebration of the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah, begins at sunset on Sunday, Sept. 13 and concludes at sunset on Tuesday, Sept. 15.

Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, starts at sunset on Sunday, Sept. 22 and ends at sunset on the following day.

“It’s important to us to be able to offer our award-winning oils and vinegars to the entire community, and we’re proud to include those who may observe Kosher dietary laws among our customers,” said Vom Fass Owner Melisa Conti.

“Our products offer not only superior flavor and great health benefits, but they’re perfect for cooking all sorts of delicious meals.”

Vom Fass, located in the Waterfront across from Fashion Square at 7135 E. Camelback Road, Suite 145, will celebrate its first anniversary in November.

“We’re definitely gearing up for our first anniversary as well as the coming holiday season with a variety of specials that includes really unique gift-giving ideas,” Ms. Conti said.

“We’re committed to fulfilling customized gift giving needs in a range of prices for individuals and companies.”

Ms. Conti also said she is compiling a calendar for in-store events and parties in response to customer requests.

The Vom Fass experience lets customers taste any of the diverse range of oils and vinegars and exotic liquors that are displayed and offered in the same barrels in which they are delivered to the store.

Vom Fass means “from the cask,” a tradition and strategy developed by the Kiderlen family in Ravensburg, Germany and first introduced in 1994.
