In the agenda item, Dr. Burdick noted, “Due to the fact that CCUSD staff will only receive a 1.5 percent one-time increase, I respectfully decline the opportunity for performance-based pay.”

Dr. Burdick has been superintendent of CCUSD since 2008 and has only accepted the performance-based pay once – in a year where teachers also received a raise.
