Nine-year-old Paradise Valley student takes first in spelling bee

Bella Delmedico, 9, took first in her school spelling bee on May 8.

Miss Delmedico, a student at Scottsdale Country Day School, 10460 N. 56th Street in Scottsdale, competed against students in grades third-sixth grades.

She is a resident of Paradise Valley.
