Twenty Scottsdale students from Notre Dame Preparatory students attended the Arizona Thespian Society Leadership Camp, held July 7-10 at Camp Shadow Pines in Heber.

The student actors spent four days attending workshops and learning skills to make the NDP Saints troupe more cohesive and productive

The event’s keynote speaker was Adam Brooks, a Phoenix-based motivational speaker, author and college instructor who specializes in adolescent communication and development, according to a press release.

The Arizona Thespian Society was incorporated in the mid 1970s and is a Region I Chapter affiliated with the International Thespian Society and the Educational Theatre Association, stated the release. Over the last three and a half decades, Arizona Thespians have provided services to over 50,000 adolescents and hundreds of educators.
