Notre Dame students stage art show at Vi at Silverstone

More than 100 student artists, musicians and singers from Notre Dame Preparatory gathered April 13 at Vi at Silverstone in north Scottsdale to present their talents to the residents of the adult living community.

The school’s third annual Arts Showcase and Open House allowed lovers of art and music spanning several generations to view the students’ artistic and musical accomplishments with Vi residents voting for their favorites pieces in each medium, according to a press release.

Singers and musicians from the NDP fine arts program provided entertainment for guests attending the open house and awards reception.

Students’ visual art pieces were displayed by category in the grand foyer at the Vi at Silverstone in art-walk style. During the week prior to the showcase, Vi residents voted for their favorite work in each category: Painting, drawing, mixed media, photography, ceramics, and computer graphics.

*Ceramics: “Who Done It”– Emily Garrison
