Rancho Solano Preparatory School has announced the addition of Dr. Paul K. Johnson as the new Head of School.

Dr. Johnson brings with him a breadth of experience, having held several teaching positions as well as administrative leadership roles both domestically and abroad.

Dr. Johnson has served as President at the American College of Sofia, the oldest American educational institution outside of the United States, according to a press release.

He also served as a school superintendent, was named North Dakota Superintendent of the Year in 2008, and was one of four finalists for the American Association of School Administrators National Superintendent of the Year award.

Dr. Johnson holds a doctorate degree in Educational Administration from the University of North Dakota, a master’s degree in Educational Administration from North Dakota State University and a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Music from Minot State University.

Rancho Solano is very fortunate to have such a strong leader in Dr. Johnson, guiding its children to thrive in a global society and to be architects of their own future, the release stated.
