Scottsdale Community College hosts career expo, community night

Professional career tracks and personal growth courses will be featured at Scottsdale Community College’s “Back to School Career Expo and Community Night” on Tuesday, April 5.

Attendees will be able to meet with faculty and advisors and learn more about earning certificates in management, marketing, bookkeeping, network administration, social media and web development.

Workshops covering personal growth courses in creative writing, nutrition, yoga, self-publishing and other courses will be offered, according to a press release. A drawing will provide the winner a $250 tuition scholarship.

The event in the school’s Turquoise Room will run from 6-8 p.m. SCC is located at 9000 E. Chaparral Road in Scottsdale.

Those interested in attending should register at rsvp@scottsdalecc.edu. Walk-ins welcome but space is limited.
