Scottsdale Community College hosts fall plant sale Oct. 20-21

Scottsdale Community College’s Center for Native and Urban Wildlife will hold its fall plant sale Thursday, Oct. 20 and Friday, Oct. 21 at the school’s greenhouse.

The sale benefits CNUW’s mission to foster stewardship of plants and animals in both native and urban spaces through educational programs, research, and community restoration work.

The sale will run from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. each day, according to a press release.

Cacti, succulents, trees, shrubs, indoor plants, and hanging plants — all grown in the greenhouse — will be on sale. Wildflower seeds, bee poles, and custom arrangements also will be available.

Plants range in price from $3 to $15 for non-custom designs. Only cash and check accepted for payment, the release stated.

SCC is located at 9000 E. Chaparral Road in Scottsdale. The greenhouse is on the north side of campus. From Chaparral Road, proceed to entrance 4 and head to Parking Lot I.
