Scottsdale Country Day School students enjoy cooler temps

Scottsdale Country Day School’s third-grade teacher, Mrs. Evelyn, recently took advantage of the great weather by having her students work on math division outdoors.

Using chalk and the sidewalk as her materials, Mrs. Evelyn’s class had a blast learning division.

SCDS Headmaster Steve Prahcharov was able to observe part of the lesson and stated, “This reminds me of the times when my teachers would take us outside as children to do our work. These are the learning memories that stuck with me and which these third-grade students will always remember.”

Scottsdale Country Day School is a charter school designed for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Class sizes are kept small with no more than 20 students per class.
