Scottsdale student inducted into Alpha Chi Society at Lipscomb

Caroline Teich of Scottsdale has been inducted into the Tennessee Kappa Chapter of the Alpha Chi National Honor Scholarship Society at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tenn.

Miss Teich, a Scottsdale Christian Academy graduate, is one of 108 undergraduate and graduate students inducted into the prestigious society.

Alpha Chi is a national college scholarship honor society that promotes outstanding character and academic excellence in all disciplines, said Dr. Lin Garner, assistant athletic director for academics, senior woman’s administrator and faculty advisor of Alpha Chi.

Undergraduate inductees into the Tennessee Kappa Chapter have completed at least 24 semester hours at Lipscomb, represent the Top 10 percent of the junior class and the Top 10 percent of the senior class and exemplify Alpha Chi’s core values.

The inductees were honored at a ceremony Nov. 3 with speaker Rob Touchstone, director of missional entrepreneurship and co-founder of The Well Coffeehouse.
