AJ’s Fine Foods presents Food & Wine Experience Nov. 8

An AJ’s Fine Foods Festive Entertaining Pavilion will greet guests as they enter the first-ever azcentral.com Food & Wine Experience presented by Cadillac, Nov. 7-8 at Scottsdale Fashion Square.


Azcentral Food & Wine Experience will feature two full days of expos, demonstrations, special events and intimate dining. Tickets are available for different event offerings, allowing food enthusiasts to customize their experience.

AJ’s Fine Foods Festive Entertaining Pavilion will evolve and transform every three hours, offering different experiences during the two-day event. A SubZero/Wolf cooking demonstration stage will feature Graham Elliot, the co-host and judge on FOX TV’s hit cooking competition, “Master Chef,” and Chef Gio Osso of Scottsdale’s Virtú Honest Craft restaurant, among others.

“We look forward to welcoming everyone to our Festive Entertaining Pavilion at a time when many of us will be planning our holiday get-togethers and celebrations,” said Jayson Mead, director of operations for AJ’s Fine Foods.

“Our entire AJ’s Fine Foods team is prepared to deliver so many exciting things that will demonstrate why we’re such a culinary destination, especially during the holidays.”

The pavilion will feature expert mixologists, cicerones and cellar masters who each will offer their expert tips and techniques, allowing guests to sample everything from bourbon to sparkling wines. Riedel experts will talk about the beverage-enhancing properties of their wine glasses.

Mark Tarbell, owner of Tarbell’s restaurant, and a renowned Arizona chef who has appeared on “Today,” “Good Morning America” and was a winner of Food Network’s 5th season of “Iron Chef America,” will share his favorite and popular wine varieties.

Guests also can lounge and relax at the cigar patio with spirits and craft beer sampling.

In addition, a Butcher’s Corner will showcase dry-aged and prime meats; a lively marketplace area will offer local artisans and exotic produce; a floral design area will showcase centerpiece ideas and décor for holiday entertaining; and a pop-up boutique will appear with tabletop accessories and holiday gifts.

Guests have a range of events to choose from, including everything from a $10 ticket for Saturday’s Aperitif after-party, to an $85 ticket to the Grand Tasting, or a $200 ticket to the Grand Finale dinner.
