‘American Idol with a Soul’ coming to Scottsdale Tuesday

A unique fundraising event will unfold in dramatic style Tuesday, March 1, at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts.

Known as “American Idol with a Soul,” eight nonprofit groups will take to the stage as part of the fifth annual Fast Pitch Social Innovation Expo.

Presenters each will have three minutes to pitch their organizations in front of a panel of judges and a live audience.

At stake are tens of thousands of dollars in grants – plus invaluable connections to business and community leaders who can help expand their social impact.

Registration begins at 4:30 p.m. and the program starts at 5:30 p.m.
