The School of Ballet Arizona, 2835 E. Washington St. in Phoenix, is offering summer dance programs for all ages.
To register for classes, e-mail school@balletaz.org or call School Manager Alison Morse at 602-343-6512. The classes are:
- Musical Theater Workshop, May 26-June 5. For students ages 12-16. This workshop focuses on singing, dancing and acting.
- Adult Summer Intensive, June 1-4. For students ages 14 and up. At intermediate or advanced levels, students experience high-quality training only found at The School of Ballet Arizona.
- Adaptive Dance, June 13-July 18. For students with Down Syndrome ages 8-16. This weekly class for students with Down Syndrome targets skills that enhance bodily awareness.
- Summer Ballet School, June 8-July 17. For students ages 4-10. This class is offered in sessions from two or six weeks.
- Youth Summer Intensive, June 8-July 24. For students ages 10 and older. This intensive offers serious ballet students the highest caliber of intensive classical training.
