Arizona Culinary Institute in Scottsdale to host June open house

The public is invited to experience the industry-leading approach of the Arizona Culinary Institute  at an open house on Saturday, June 13.

Chef instructors will be giving tours of the school from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and admissions and financial aid representatives will be on hand to answer questions from prospective students and their families.

This event is a way to get a taste of what it’s like to be a chef at a school dedicated to traditional French cooking techniques, but also welcoming of modernist cuisine, according to a press release.

Arizona Culinary Institute is located at 10585 N. 114 St. in Scottsdale.

LGO Hospitality will also be on site for ACI’s open house. Interested parties will be able to speak with representatives about job opportunities with the company’s many restaurant concepts including LGO Grocery + Pizzeria, Chelsea’s Kitchen and Ingo’s Tasty Diner, according to the release.

Their newest concept, Buck & Rider, will be opening in September 2015 and LGO is actively hiring to fill available management and hourly positions. For more information, visit:

ACI will also be hosting select high school students at the event for a special future chef’s workshop, according to the release. Interested high school students and educators should contact ACI admissions representatives Leslie Idaspe or Michael Meckstroth at 480-603-1066 for this and future high school culinary education workshops.
