Barbara’s Picks has declared October “Love Your Home & Lifestyle Month.” After all, loving your home and lifestyle, is loving yourself, according to industry advocate Barbara Kaplan.

On Saturday, Oct. 15 more than 30 design and lifestyle vendors will assemble at Allstate Appliances at 15250 N. Hayden Road in Scottsdale to showcase all their products and services to the public during a free event.

Known as Barbara’s Picks, each of these vendors are hand selected by Ms. Kaplan, an industry advocate and one of the valley’s leading interior designers, according to a press release. The public is invited to meet the owners and key consultants for expert answers to every design question from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There will be live presentations, demonstrations and industry experts, giving advice and guidance.

Interior designers will also be available for individual consultations. Bring design projects to experts for answers. Additionally, Ms. Kaplan will be on hand to offer her own advice and tips.

For those in attendance, vendors will have special event offers for products and services, the release stated.

Throughout the event there will be drawings for prizes, and a grand prize valued at more than $1,000 will be drawn Saturday at 4 p.m.

“I and other professional designers admire and work with these companies. They are reliable, quality companies that I have confidence recommending to you,” said Ms. Kaplan in the release. “They are picked because they are the best of the best. After 30+ years in the design industry, I can recommend with confidence these vendors who provide luxury products and services. They have proven themselves.”

Barbara’s Picks provides a Resource Directory to help you find the “best of the best” professionals in design and lifestyle.
