California Pizza Kitchen will beginning rolling out a new look, new menu and new hospitality experience for its 30th birthday. The new transition will begin at the Biltmore Fashion Park location, 2400 E. Camelback Road in Phoenix.

“The Biltmore Fashion Park was the valley’s first CPK and we are proud to be chosen as the first to bring the new look, new menu and new experience to our Arizona guests,” said General Manager Daniel Smederovac of CPK Biltmore Fashion Park.

California Pizza Kitchen’s Next Chapter menu celebrates fresh food and bold flavors, according to a press release.

“We still do pizza really, really well, but we are now serving some new fabulous entrees, imaginative salads and fresh new desserts,” said Smederovac.

The new look at Biltmore Fashion Park features an upscale feel. Sustainable materials were a guiding factor.

The warm and rustic décor features many natural elements like oak floors, tabletops made from reclaimed wood, natural stone countertops, and artifacts of from salvaged metal. Vibrant artwork features the Grand Canyon and other iconic Phoenix landmarks.

According to the release the centerpiece of the newly remodeled CPK Biltmore is the open kitchen, where guests will be able to watch as their food is prepared from scratch and favorite pizzas are tossed, topped with fresh ingredients and then crisped in an open-hearth oven.

According to the press release, renovation on all 270+ restaurants across the country will be completed by 2016.
