Butterfly Wonderland invites public to its birthday celebration

The Butterfly Wonderland, 9500 E. Via de Ventura in Scottsdale, will be celebrating its second birthday with special activities May 23-25.

The exhibit will include live music by Native American flautist Anthony Wakeman and meals and tastings from popular Valley food trucks from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., a climbing wall, five-game-challenge inflatable, games, storytelling and a bouncy house.

In addition, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, complimentary face painting will be available for children and a special guest, Butterfly Princess Persephone Dimson, will be floating around the Butterfly Wonderland giving live performances.

On Sunday, May 24, harpist Adrianne Bridgewater will be performing, and on Monday, May 25, guitarist Lee Perreira will be performing.
