Cave Creek boutique to host November, December ‘Meet the Artist’ events

Two artisan shows will take place Nov. 11 and 12 and Dec. 2 and 3, at Cave Creek’s Etania Jewelry & Boutique.

The November, two-day event will showcase Jennifer Hanscom, a local jewelry artist who specializes in sterling silver, according to a press release.

Ms. Hanscom designs, engineers and creates jewelry with intrigue, elegance and appeal. She also teaches jewelry-making classes and is a well known and sought after artist, the release stated.

1109ns-entertainment-tumblestoneIn December, Walter and Doris Husbands of Tumblestone Gems & Jewelry, will offer customers fascinating pieces of art made from tumbleweeds.

“These fascinating pieces of art are unique and one-of-a-kind,” said Lisa Baker, Etania’s owner, in the press release.  “The line includes jewelry, gift items and ornaments. You have never seen anything like Tumbleweed jewelry.”

Ms. Baker, a jewelry artist herself, searches the world for the best and most unusual gemstones. Each beautiful product is created into an unusual, unique, one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry.

Much of the jewelry is made or designed by Arizona artisans. Etania Jewelry & Boutique is filled with handmade handbags, accessories, gifts and women’s clothing.

“Our goal is to offer unique items you won’t find elsewhere,” Ms. Baker said in the release.
