Chaparral high to star in comedy ‘One Slight Hitch’

Chaparral High School’s theater company be presenting the wedding-comedy “One Slight Hitch,” written by stand-up comedian Lewis Black.

When a happy bride and her groom face none other than an old boyfriend, the tables turn every which way, leaving Courtney’s family in a complete state of panic, stated a press release.

Join cast members Ellie Hoffman (Courtney), Parker Ellis (Doc), Abby Runyon (Delia), Raphael Tomany (Ryan), Erik Harper (Harper) and the rest of the family as they host the wedding of the decade.

Chaparral high’s theater company has been award-winning in year’s past, the release stated.

Performances on Sept. 30, Oct. 1 and 2 at 7:00 p.m., Chaparral High School’s Auditorium, 6935 E. Gold Dust Ave. in Scottsdale.

Tickets are $10 to the general public, $8 with a Chaparral High School student activity card. Appropriate for ages 13 and up. Tickets can be purchased at the Chaparral High School bookstore as well as at the auditorium on the evening of each performance. To purchase tickets online before the event email sflayton@susd.org.

Box Office will open 30 minutes prior to performance.
