Christian Youth Theater presents ‘Seussical the Musical’

Christian Youth Theater kicks off its ninth season with “Seussical the Musical.”


“Seussical” is billed as a “fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza” that brings to life Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, Amazing Mayzie, and a little girl with a big imagination, Jojo.

The production will be offered Nov. 6-15 at Phoenix Center for the Arts, 1202 N. 3rd St., Phoenix.

Performances are 7 p.m. Nov. 6, 2 p.m. Nov. 7 and 8, 7 p.m. Nov. 13, 1 and 4 p.m. Nov. 14 and 2 p.m. Nov. 15.

Individual tickets are $17 online.

Christian Youth Theater is an after-school theater arts training program for students ages 6-18. Since its founding in 1981 in San Diego, CYT has grown to be the largest youth theater in the nation. There are almost 20 branches across the country providing training to thousands of students a year.
