December Tai Chi in the Rainforest to be Dec. 5

Butterfly Wonderland invites guests to a special guided session on Tai Chi in the Rainforest.

Guests are invited to join in this peaceful practice while being surrounded by the calm and beautiful presence of thousands of butterflies, 7:15-8:15 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5.

Bring comfortable, loose clothing that allows you to move freely. Once inside the atrium, class will be conducted without shoes.

Instructor, Master Rasoul Sobhani has over 20 years practicing martial arts and 14 years teaching experience in yoga, tai chi, chi gung, meditation, kung fu, self-defense, and Pilates at fitness clubs, yoga studios, schools, churches, and recently at a Persian television station in Los Angeles, according to a press release.

His work has positively impacted those with whom he has interacted, transforming them to change their lifestyle toward a healthier and more holistic way of living. Significantly, he has developed a personal and unique technique of chi yoga that blends tai chi, yoga, and chi gung in one fluid series.

The class is to be $20 per person. Class size limited to 20. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required. Portion of the proceeds benefits Butterfly Wonderland Foundation.

Butterfly Wonderland is located 9500 E. Via de Ventura in Scottsdale.
