Bid on a posh pad for your pet and help save homeless animals.

From the retro-hip “K9 Kamper,” to the Old West-style “Stray Dog Saloon” and mid-century modern “Ruff Haver Home,” four-legged friends can have a one-of-a-kind house designed and built by one of the Valley’s leading design, architecture and construction firms.

The unique designer dog houses will be auctioned Thursday, Feb. 26, at the “Wine for Woofs & Beer for Barks” event to benefit the Arizona Animal Welfare League and Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. AAWL & SPCA operates the state’s oldest and largest no-kill shelter and animal welfare organization, according to a press release.

The event, which runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., is sponsored by Facings of America, a home improvement showroom specializing in stone, tile and architectural features. The showroom is located at 16421 N. 90th St., in Scottsdale.

This is the second annual Wine for Woofs & Beer for Barks event sponsored by Facings of America. The 2015 event raised more than $13,000 for AAWL & SPCA.
