Circumnavigate the world at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 13 at the meeting of the Circumnavigators Club-Desert Chapter in the Valencia Room at the Orange Tree Golf Resort at 10601 N. 56th Street in Scottsdale.

The luncheon will include a presentation by Arizona State University student and circumnavigator Carlyn Harris, the chapter’s Foundation Scholar.

Unique in its scope, the club is the only organization “devoted to bringing together those men and women who have circumnavigated the globe…doing so to encourage global fellowship and understanding…and to inspire people to see and absorb as much as they can about the world in which we live,” according to a press release.

Cost is $30 per person for a full buffet luncheon; check made payable to: Circumnavigators Club-Desert Chapter and sent to Circumnavigators Club-Desert Chapter, P. O. Box 6403, Scottsdale, AZ 85261 by no later than Monday, Nov. 7.
