Don’t miss the one-night-only fall beer tasting in Scottsdale

Copper Leaf Gastrolounge is partnering with SanTan Brewing Company, to present a beer tasting like non other 6-8 p.m. on Nov. 4.

Admission is to be $30 per person.

The new Old Town Scottsdale’s spot for upscale pub-grub will be presenting a five-course menu with full pint beer pairings, according to a press release.

There will be an appetizer, three main courses, and a dessert with a different beer pairing for each. A representative from SanTan Brewing Company will accompany Copper Leaf chef and owner Todd Williams to guide the tasters and explain how the palettes pair.

The menu is as follows:


  • Hefe Weizen Beer Cocktail
  • Beer Battered Blackened Catfish Bites and soft pretzel bites w/beer fondue dipping sauce

Course 1

  • Oktoberfest Beer
  • Grilled Bratwurst with German potato salad on a skewer

Course 2

  • Devil’s Ale
  • Beef Tenderloin Medallions with shallots and Mushroom Pale Ale reduction

Course 3

  • MoonJuice IPA
  • Brie and Apple Chutney baked in flaky crust w/ toast points


  • Café Panther Porter
  • Chocolate Lava Cake with Port infused raspberry chocolate drizzle and fresh whipped cream dollop

“This is a great opportunity to partner with a local brewery and showcase how well their beers can pair with our eclectic menu,” stated Todd Williams, owner and chef of Copper Leaf Gastrolounge, in the release. “Not only will the tasters get a lesson on beer pairings but they will also walk away with a commemorative pint glass from SanTan Brewery, who has been one of the Valley’s most renowned breweries since their inception in 2007.”
