Fountain Hills Theater presents ‘Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story’

The Fountain Hills Theater is to present ‘Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story,’ a story that will showcase the story in words and music of the last few years of his life.

Patrons will see how he and his childhood high-school friends, the Crickets, turn country music upside down and create a unique style of sound which some called “the devil’s music.”

‘Buddy’ will play July 24-Aug. 16. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.

Individual tickets are $28 for adults and $23 for youth ages 17 and under. Seniors receive a $5 discount on all summer performances.  Group rates and student rush discounts are available, according to a press release.

All performances are at Fountain Hills Theater on its main stage at 11445 N. Saguaro Blvd. Tickets are available through the Theater Box Office at 480-837-9661 x3 and at www.fhtaz.org.
