Labor Day weekend at Butterfly Wonderland

Butterfly Wonderland will be celebrating the Labor Day holiday, Sept. 5-7, with activities throughout the weekend for the entire family to enjoy.

Guests will be treated to live musical entertainment 11 a.m.-3 p.m., food trucks 11 a.m.-4 p.m., and on Sunday and Monday Liberty Wildlife will be on site with animals.

On Saturday, the musical guests will be Ballet Folklorico, a harpist will be playing on Sunday and a guitarist on Monday, according to a press release.

Butterfly Wonderland, 9500 E. Via de Ventura, is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

The butterfly conservatory will also be hosting a school supply drive in support of Title 1, homeless and low income students in conjunction with their 501c(3) foundation. The school supplies will be collected at the front door and $3 off admission will be honored to those to donate, stated the release.

Butterfly Wonderland is America’s largest Butterfly Pavilion that entertains, educates and enchants visitors of all ages on the wonders of one of Mother Nature’s most beloved creatures.  The state-of-the-art facility includes a conservatory, a 3-D theater, Butterfly Emergence Gallery, a Butterfly Treasures Gift Shop, Rivers of the Amazon, Ant Colony, a Honey Bee Extravaganza and a Café, according to the release.
