Lost Dog Street Band to play at Scottsdale bar

1014Ns Entertainment (Lost Dog Street Band)

Original American Storytelling band, the Lost Dog Street Band, is to perform in Scottsdale on Oct. 28 at the Rogue Bar.

Lost Dog Street Band brings with them tunes inspired by traveling by foot and freight train, hard times on the road, personal tragedy, and a long American tradition of story-songs.

The Rogue Bar is at 423 N. Scottsdale Rd.

Bearing their hearts on stage, the duet knits together influences from traditional country music, old-time, blues, and ragtime music, according to a press release. Accompanied by a guitar and fiddle, Benjamin Tod and Ashley Mae will share songs that cut to the quick.

Lost Dog Street Band has released two prior albums, “Sick Pup” (2010), and “Life’s a Dog-gone Shame” (2013). Currently they are touring to promote their newest album release “Homeward Bound” (2015), the release stated.
