Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale will once again serve as the stylish backdrop for three days of established and emerging designer runway shows at Phoenix Fashion Week.

This year’s event will include Phoenix Fashion Week’s signature Designer of the Year competition, Business of Fashion Seminars presented by FIDM, Model of the Year competition powered by TONI&GUY, and the event’s popular Style Villa shopping experience.

Since first partnering with Talking Stick Resort in 2011, PHXFW has welcomed thousands of guests and influential industry professionals from around the globe to Arizona, for the chance to discover the next emerging, national and international “it” designers.

It will also activate an impressive 2015 roster of top-tier partners and sponsors focused on pushing Arizona fashion forward, including FIDM, TONI&GUY Hair, Modern Luxury / SCOTTSDALE Magazine and new this year, adding the expertise of True Religion Jeans co-founder Kym Gold to the Emerging Designer Bootcamp.

Focusing on the past success of the Emerging Designer Bootcamp, Phoenix Fashion Week has partnered with EVINE LIVE, a national e-commerce portal and home shopping channel.

The EVINE LIVE team has taken a behind the scenes look at 13 emerging designers in the competition and will ultimately select five to sell a capsule collection direct to its 10 million-plus shoppers via its online store and cable channel.

“Phoenix Fashion Week is an exciting event that showcases our local talent, and we’re thrilled to be part of the celebration again this year,” said Ramon Martinez, public relations director for Talking Stick Resort.

“Our expansive casino floor, world-class restaurants and indoor-outdoor entertainment venues will serve as the perfect backdrop for guests attending this highly anticipated show.”

“Talking Stick Resort is an ideal partner for PHXFW because of its capability to accommodate our exploding growth,” said PHXFW Director Brian Hill. “At Talking Stick Resort we have it all – stunning surroundings, key amenities and a platform that allows us to create our own signature runway look and feel that rivals fashion weeks in New York, Paris, and London,” he said.

“Having our own flexible space, within the property has been a key component to growing our program and has helped us to effectively show the world how Phoenix is fast becoming a game-changing fashion city,” he said.

This year, PHXFW attendees can expect over 27 high-energy fashion shows featuring designer brands ranging from locally to internationally recognized, including stylish sounds by DJ Q, glamorous after parties, and special celebrity guests.
