Photographers invited to ‘wake up with the butterflies’

Butterfly Wonderland invites residents for a quiet hour photographing butterflies in the tropical rain forest before opening the doors to the public, 8:30-9:30 a.m. April 18.

Attendees will be able to snap photos of awakening butterflies and catch that perfect photo of a new species.

Butterfly Wonderland is located at 9500 E. Via de Ventura, Scottsdale.

Tripods are not allowed during the event however, monopods are allowed.

Pre-registration and pre-payment is required. The program is limited to 20 participants.

Cost is $10 for members; $30 for non-members (includes admission to Butterfly Wonderland). Proceeds benefit the Butterfly Wonderland Foundation.
