Photos: Scottsdale Fiesta Bowl Rugby and Balloon Classic

The Fiesta Bowl Rugby and Balloon Classic was hosted on Saturday, April 23, at the Scottsdale Stadium featuring the Arizona State University’s club rugby team and the Mexican National Team. The Mexican National Team ultimately won the bowl, beating ASU 30-23.

Following the rugby match, the Yoda and Darth Vader hot air balloons made their Arizona debut during the Balloon Classic.

Balloons creator, Benoit Lambert has traveled the world with his Darth Vader and Yoda hot air balloons. Mr. Lambert, 35, says he’s been a Star Wars fan since he was 8-years-old and he recently tied together two of his loves — balloon piloting and Star Wars.
