SCC to celebrate merger of Film and Theatre Arts program

Come celebrate the historic merger of Scottsdale Community College’s Film School with the Theatre Arts program, on Friday, Sept. 18.

The new department is now called the Scottsdale School of Film+Theatre, according to a press release. The reception marking the union will be at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art from 7-9 p.m.

The event is open to the public with registration. Send RSVP to by Wednesday, Sept. 9.

SMoCA is at 7333 E. 2nd Street in downtown Scottsdale. Dress is business casual.  Food and beverages will be available.
