Adapted Recreation Services programs are designed for people with disabilities wanting to get involved in their community. Community integration programs, adapted sports leagues, leisure education class accommodations and after-school programs are just a few ways to get moving with ARS.

Please Note:

  • All participants must have an Adapted Rec Form on file with Adapted Recreation Services prior to participating in the program.
  • Adapted Recreation programs are for participants 16 and up who can take care of their self-help needs. A personal aide may attend at no charge for participants requiring personal/intrusive services.

The ARS form can be found online, by calling the ARS Hotline at 480-312-2234, or by e-mailing us at adaptedrec@scottsdaleaz.gov.
