Scottsdale Civic War Round Table: your questions answered

The Scottsdale Civic War Round Table announces the return of U.S. Park Historian, Emeritus and Civil War historian, Ed Bearss for a question and answer session.

Mr. Bearss, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II is a speaker much in demand and has a busy schedule leading tours of historic battlefields, according to a press release.  The Civil War Trust created the Edwin C. Bearss Lifetime Achievement Award for achievements in historic preservation and made him the first recipient in 2001.

This event is to be 6:40 p.m.m on Jan. 19.

Scottsdale Civil War Round Table meets the third Tuesday of every month, at the Scottsdale Civic Center Library, 3839 N. Drinkwater Blvd., in Scottsdale. Speakers are comprised of well known Civil War experts from around the country. Everyone is welcome. No admission charge.
