Scottsdale museum hosts street-art fundraiser event May 2

The Scottsdale Cultural Council presents SMoCA Mix: Street Art Movies Inside, the third annual benefit event to support the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art.

SMoCA Mix will be taking place inside and around he museum, 7374 E. 2nd St. in Scottsdale, 6-10 p.m. on Saturday, May 2.

The annual fundraiser will have bold fashion, music, art, cars, performances, silent auction and more.

Philanthropist and businesswoman, Sydney Dye will be chairing this years event with the assistance of 25-member team.

Phoenix artist, Lalo Cota will be transforming the museum’s walls into outdoor spaces with expansive murals replicating street scenes.

The Main stage will feature entertainment provided by dancers from CYPHERS – The Center for Urban Arts.

SMoCA Mix tickets are $200 per person.
